My intent with this web site is to educate and entertain. The site, which
you see before you, will be a compendium of supernatural lore from our
area. It is our history. They are our stories. I hope that you will laugh
at times, wonder others, and be scared most.
As you drive home at night down a deserted country road I want you to be
able to point a place out and say, “Right there is where that poor girl
died. Right there is where her spirit still walks.” Ghost stories are
supposed to chill us even as we sit in front of the fireplace with the
lights off listening to the logs pop from the heat. Listening with rapt
attention the hairs begin to raise, your flesh taut with goose bumps the
